Korea Travelogue - Part 1

So.. We booked our tickets and 6 months later, we were on our way to Korea!
We waited so long for this day to come! But it left too quickly! ):
Let's hit the replay button! 

Anyway, this is the first trip with my #lupsupkidz and we had a total of 288 hours in Korea!! 

Departure day - 23 May 2014 

Took half day leave because I wasn't sure if I can make it if I end at 5 hahhaha I'm kiasu like that! So I went home to.. TAKE A NAP! 

Met the girls at the airport at ard 1930hrs to check in before we part again to have dinner with our parents!

 Day 1 - 24 May 2014 - Arrived at Incheon Airport! 

On the train to Seoul Station!

And then we checked in while Carmen and Fer went to buy EXO concert merchandise! 

Initial plan was to check in and then go out again to explore a little of Myeong Dong. But tiredness got the better of us so.. we decided to nua a little in the guesthouse. Ohh our home for the 11 nights was at Namsan Guesthouse 4! All the reviews was sooooo good but when we reached.... /: Idk, maybe their review was for the other guesthouse 2/3. We even wanted to cancel, get a refund and move to other guesthouse! Hahaha but all was fully booked sooooo, we just made do with this! There was a private bathroom, BUT IT WASN'T ATTACHED TO THE ROOM. It was just... across the "living room". What.....

Lucky the 2nd room we moved into was better but.. onto the last 2 nights, the air con started leaking. WTS...

We nua alllll the way until Carmen and Fer came back then we head out for dinner! We decided to just roam ard Myeong Dong because we were all tired from the flight. Only person who slept very well on the plane was Carmen. Fer and I tossed and turned like mad! Hhahaha!

Spicy steamed chicken with seafood! Which was damn good!!

Then we split up to roam ard a little! So we crossed over to Young Plaza! & we had Gong Cha! Like as if SG don't have right~ 

While walking home, we stopped by for this!! SOOOOO GOOD AS WELL! 

Ended day 1 early as all of us was super tired!

Day 2 - 25 May 2014

To Yeongdeungpo for underground shopping because weather forecast say it's gonna rain! 

No idea what to have for breakfast so we just bought this to share before we look for real food!

After lunch, we walked ard Times Square! Then we chanced upon this cafe!

Joyce and I wanted 3 more slices of cakes but Fer, our mum in Korea says no ): Hahahahah! & lucky she said no because we were kinda full after these!

Headed on to Dong Dae Mun to look for shoes!! Because I didn't bring a pair to wear with my dress heheheh!

Walked around and I finally bought a pair of shoe!! Hahaha! Then we decided to head back home to drop off our things and to let Carmen change out of her contacts before heading out for BBQ dinner, just below our guesthouse!

Went to walk around at Myeong Dong again after dinner because it was too early to head back to sleep but too late to travel to somewhere further because we have to go back to pack for Busan! Bought lip mask and immediately went back to apply it! Hahahaha!

Think we took this when Joyce and I were accompanying Fer to search for places to go in Busan and also how to get to our guesthouse! Heheheh! Also... 3 of us was always the last to sleep! Hahaha like every single night!! HAHAHAH!

#lupsupkidz might not be the most glam name for a group of 5 girls but really... I'm sooo glad to have them in my life. Reason why we're called lupsupkidz, quite self explanatory right? Hahaha cause we're LUPSUP!

Errrrrr, this sums up the first 2 days of my 12 days in Korea!! Will be back with other parts yo!!! :D 

WEEKLY UPDATES!

Updating this space has become a weekly thing! Which is good I suppose, at least I get to update my life and next time when I read back, I know what are the crazy things I've done. Ok crazy. Not exactly crazy things my life actually quite boring. But anyway, here goes!! 

Work was... the same. Nothing muchhhh. Just regret a little abt not going to FHA after hearing somethings from KC! Hahahahaha. 

Let's see...! 

Went to the hairdress last week with no intentions to cut my hair but as usual, I got tempted and... I SNIPPED OFF A LOT OF MY HAIR. Hahahaha but no regrets, loving the new length a lot! :D We had to wait quite a while on that day because my hairdresser was pretty busy. So I went to walk ard, drop by Courts and got tempted at cameras again, because I HAVE BEEN REGRETTING SINCE THE DAY I SOLD MY G12! ): I miss the flip screen a lot. But because I already have the S100, I don't wanna waste too much getting a new one, I went back to the salon and started for someone who wants to sell their Samsung EX2F. FINALLY, I FOUND A SELLER. The price was wayyyy too good. Of course, it comes with a price to pay. The camera is a little scratched at the bottom where we screw in the tripod but no biggie to me. DEAL! I met him the very next day and.... MEET MY NEW TOY! 

K, another better shot which I grabbed off the internet! 

I'm soooo happy plus I got it at like more than 50% lesser than the original price! :D Haven't really used it yet. Hahaha don't ask me why but I'm definitely gonna bring it to Korea with me! ^^ 

Friday was another TGIF as usual with my happy pills! They wanted to donate blood but.... we just postponed it. & since we were already at Dhoby Ghaut, we just settled for dinner at Kith Cafe! Ok, actually I went to see their menu beforehand and saw that they had Tiramisu! Heeheheh I was craving for it soooo badly for weeks already! PICTURES!!

Of course, wasn't as good as what I'd wanted because I feel that my taste bud already spoilt by boss. Always bringing us for authentic Italian food which I'm super super thankful for. Haahahaha the tiramisu that I had was really to die for. Hahahahaha! But then, what is there to complain right. GOT TIRAMISU GOOD ENOUGH ALREADY! HAHAHAHA! 

OH YES!!!!! On Sunday, I FINALLY HIT THE 2048 TILE!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA! 

Anyway, I think my eyesight is failing me? Omg /: I used to really wanna wear glasses when I was younger but now, I REALLY DON'T! I mean... if attend class where I have to look from very far I'm ok but please, not for daily needs. Recently, after looking at screens for awhile, my eyes gets soooo blur ): Sighxz. 

Speaking of which, IDK HOW MUCH TO CHANGE TO BRING TO KOREA! Thinking of 2k. Then I'd probably pay for my Mini Mac with my debit card? Idk manxzxzxzxzxz. Hopefully that's enough. & come to think of it, I can actually mange to cough out 2k to go Korea but I didn't bear to come up with the 2k for my bag. Hahahahah waixz.

Okkkkk, gonna watch some rm and go to bed early! Got to go baibai tmr! 

APRIL 2014!

It's April!! :D 

First up, 48 MORE DAYS TO KOREA!!! ^^

Excited and at the same time... hahahahahha idk! But anyway, really looking forward to our first trip together! :D 

When Carmen left us and went to Taiwan, Fer and I had churros at Max Brenner at Vivo! 

We shared the dark chocolate ice something and churros!!!! Hahaha!

Ice chocolate was good but the churros could be better! Hahahaha ok, maybe I'm just picky like that! Oh wellssssss. Hahahaha! 

Had dinner with the family on Tuesday after work! Not exactly a family dinner, it's just my cousin, sister, uncle and his friend. Then we went for ice cream at Island Creamery! Damn suaku I know but it was my first time there and... I didn't quite liked it /: The waffle was damn hard? Not the outside crispy, inside fluffy kind. Was just, HARD. The ice cream was ok though. If I go back, it would just be for the ice cream.

Moving onnnnn! Met Fer on Thursday for dinner. My life really revolve ard Carmen and Fer only. HAHAHAHAH! No la, actually I meet other people too! Hahahahhha. Like... Shep and KC! Just that dk why we a bit no habit to take pictures ahahahahaah. Ok, will change this habit! Hahahaha! 

Anyway, we decided to be adventurous and made our way to Stranger's Reunion! Not very difficult to go from where we were but adventurous because we usually just head to malls haahahaha. We kinda... over ordered? Nothing new, I always over order no matter who I'm with! But I just wanna try everything? Hahahaha! That kinda explains my size, no? ): Maybe I should stop this habit. Hahaha!

This was nice! Couldn't really taste the truffle from the fries because the oil was pour on the mayo instead! We damn suaku, I cannot tank. Hahahhah we saw the mayo and thought it looked a little oily because of the layer of truffle oil hahahahahah and we didn't wanna dip the mayooooo omg. BUT IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME THERE!!

We couldn't manage a selfie because like what I mentioned, Fer was a little seh on the cider /: Initially, she didn't know there was alcohol in it. Then drink and drink and drink until she felt warm then realise. But too lateeee. Then nvm, she switched to water and the iced chocolate. Then this girl! Cannot resist, kept drinking the cider again and erm, finally cannot take it lor. She was soooooo sleepy while we were walking home and she finally gave up when we were somewhere near my house and took a cab home. Hahaahahah sigh pieee!

& actually... looking at what we ordered for 2, got over order meh? Hahahahahah no right? /:

Then guess whattttt hahahahahahahhah MAYDAY IS PERFORMING FOR F1, YAYY!!!!!

Bought the tickets immediately when in the office because I iz kiasu like mad I scared later sold out hahahahah! 

I should blog more often like in between the week rightttt I always cramp up all in one post! /: I don't get tired uploading but I scared people read already tired? HAHAHAHAH LIKE AS IF ANYONE READS THIS! HAHAHAHA! I looked at my statistic and it was pathetic! Hahaahah I had 41 views last mth. MONTH LEH HAHAHAHAHAH! K la, I shall treat this as a personal diary instead, for myself to read in future ahahahah! & I should probably like... BRING MY CAMERA OUT MORE OFTEN FOR BETTER PICTURES! All my pictures are taken with my iphone! Hahahaha!

TGIF!

Spending my very quiet and relaxed afternoon at home, eating my apple, listening to songs and downloading Running Man. If only everyday is like that hahahahaha but I bet 'll get sick of this soon! Hahah! Only thing I'm happy abt is that I don't have to be at work, finding things to do. I actually have a lot to say but... I cannot possibly say it here right! I only can wait for tonight when I meet Fer then tell her! Hahah! It's going to be only us 2 tonight because Carmen is leaving for Taiwan! Aww ): Speaking of which, I should go search for some cafe that we can go to! Heheh! I might be back to delete this post because it's just words and it's so.. boring. Hahahahah!

Okai, enough of work! 2 more sentence also too much! 

Sooooo, I have received my Barely Naked skin for my 5s! Not too bad but I might have ruined the sticker a bit by putting it and taking it off several times /: But all's good! The damage that I've done is not too obvious hahahahahah! No pictures cause I cannot find a proper spot to take a picture of it. My room is bright enough but because I'm directly under the light, there's always shadow. Shall try to take a proper picture! 

TGIF last week was at Vivo! Fer had to OT so Carmen and I went ahead to have dinner first as we were toooo hungry! ): Had Poulet! Err, it was a little sweet to me? /: But overall ok la. Not somewhere I would wanna go back unless I crave for it. We share mushroom soup, one whole chicken and tiramisu! FINALLY HAD TIRAMISU! Though not as fantastic as those I've had before but it was good enough! :D Only have 1 picture of the poor chicken! We were sooooo hungry we just dug in when the soup was served hahahah and erm, I crave for tiramisu so badly I forgot a picture of it too /: 

Saturday is family day with the mother and sister! :D Had our favourite chicken rice from Thomson Road Longhouse followed by dessert at Salted Caramel!

Today was spent rolling around at home! Then I saw some news on Instagram regarding 五月天 ): My initial guess was that they are being dragged in because of some political issues in Taiwan! & the admin for this account that I repost proved me right ): What has it got to do with them? Why does the media need to drag them in? ): Main reason why I'm so concerned is because...  阿信 cried because of that )): It's the first time I see news of them being so sad and all and I'm a little affected as well. Reading the post on Instagram also almost made me cry. A little too over I know but.... it's just so saddening leh ): Please stay strong and don't doubt yourselves anymore! ): Now I feel like going for their HK concert just to show some support but it's impossible because I'll be in Korea during those dates AND, THE TICKETS ALREADY SOLD OUT ): PLEASE COME TO SG ALREADYYY! #我不愿让你一个人 

Speaking of concerts.. SHOULD I GO FOR LZX'S CONCERT??? I've been thinking abt it day and night? Only thing stopping me is.. if I don't go, I can buy my Mini Mac! ): 

I just finished watching My Love From The Stars last night! OMG WHY SO SWEET ONE. WHY K DRAMA ALWAYS FOREVER AND EVER SO SWEET ONEEEEEE. Spoil market only hahahahaha. But main issue here issssss, I FEEL LIKE CHANGING TO NOTE 3 AFTER WATCHING THE DRAMA HAHHAHAHAHA. Super bad habit I know ): But I love my 5S too! ): And and, I cannot decide if I should buy my Mini Mac from Korea! I mean afterall... there is a physical shop there! Better than SG right.... ): Maybe I should la hahahahaha! /:

Oh yess and I saw a Ralph Lauren shirt ytd and I want it too? HAHAHA. But it's a men's shirt and I would have to alter to length! I'm only worried what if the tailor dk how to alter to what I want? Hahahah ok, the person would be a tailor afterall but who knows righttttt /: Maybeee I should just forget abt it? ):
